However, I can add things to the site via links that allow me to expand the site without exceeding the free sites limitations.

I'm in the process of creating a photo gallery page to post all our pictures on and will link it to the site. I have a huge amount of space on one of my google accounts so I'm ...

But the high beam went out, on my 2 month old bulb, at first I thought it must be the switch or a bad connection, but no , its the new bulb!! Rats!!

Then there was the problem with the voltage indicator , or rather the problem was with the stator.

It was 1/4 quart low, when I left kingman and was coming up on an oil change.I checked in Havasu , just before ...

Spent a little time in the garage today waiting for the new battery to charge and I rolled YJ out to take a few pics of the silver bags.

One of the slight modifications that I'm going to have to do:

A little TOO close for comfort. I need to add some spacers to the Peg bracket to offset it a little:

A little bend or a spacer should fix this one:

Back to the OEM turn signal stalks. The shorty's ...

OK, got a little graduation cash and I'd like to put some running lights on YJ to make her a little mor visible - as well as make me a little more visible as well.

I've narrowed it down to a few kits and am going to go with either fork tube mount or engine bar mount...most likely the engine bars. I did find one set that bolts to the caliper bolts which would have been very nice but being priced at more than my bike is worth, it was out of the question.

So, I'm looking at these sets ...

All I can think of saying is......WOW! I got YJ back from Schraders Custom Cycles (the ONLY work that I did not do on YJ) where Mark Schrader custom modified the saddle bag brackets to Fit YJ. Theres some good news and some bad.

First, the good.

The job is done. He did a fantastic job and it looks better than factory. The way he worked the brackets to fit the bike makes them look like they were made for it. It ended up being a much bigger job than anticipated and it may be a while ...

First up is lighting. I'm going to finish the driving lights this weekend and as soon as the rear, red running lights arrive, mount them on the saddle bags just below my turn signals.

After that, I'll probably take things apart and finally install my 83 rear shock. With the added weight of the saddle bags and their contents, its now on the must do list.

This winter, I'll probably ...

For the new guys on board, if you haven't checked out Lucky's site or Dave "Leather" drapers site, I strongly encourage you to do so. They are a repository for vast amounts of Vision info that will come in handy while ROV is down.

Heres the links:
